To provide a fitting container made of a synthetic resin capable of simply opening a lid by operating either one of opening and closing pieces, and performing a closing operation with an attractive closing feeling with a click sound when it is closed.
A main body side opening and closing piece 6 extending outward of the container from a main body side fitting part 4, and a lid body side opening and closing piece 7 extending outward of the container from a lid body side fitting part 5, are provided. The main body side opening and closing piece 6 has a base end part 6a of the main body side opening and closing piece, a first engaging part 6b of the main body side opening and closing piece with a radius of curvature with a relatively large diameter, and a second engaging part 6c of the main body side opening and closing piece 6 with a radius of curvature with a relatively small diameter and whose expanding direction is opposite to the expanding direction of the first engaging part 6b of the main body side opening and closing piece. The lid body side opening and closing piece 7 has a base end part 7a of the lid body side opening and closing piece extending along the main body side opening and closing piece under a lid closed condition, a first engaging part 7b of the lid body side opening and closing piece, a second engaging piece 7c of the lid body side opening and closing piece, and an arm part 7d of the lid body side opening and closing piece.
