Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting device for a wheel of an automobile, the device having an irregular shaped polygon which blocks a screw fitting member from an illicit engagement with a variety of non-dedicated rotary tools.
SOLUTION: The fitting device for a wheel of an automobile includes a nut 1 for combining a hub of an automobile with a wheel of an automobile and a wrench adaptor 2. An irregular formed polygon is formed respectively on a mating and securing member 5, 6 of the nut 1 and the wrench adaptor 2. A blockage mechanism 10 for blocking the mating and securing member 5 is provided on the mating and securing member 5 of the nut 1. A release means 16 is provided on the mating and securing member 6 which releases the mating and securing member 5 from a blockage performed by the blockage mechanism 10. Then, the nut 1 and the wrench adaptor 2 may be brought into engagement with each other only when the mating and securing member 5 is released from the blockage by the release means 16.
