PURPOSE: To eliminate peeling and a fall of the getter by performing knurling processing for providing a fine line in a part of a lead wire just under a filament fitting part, or performing roughing processing irregularly in the described part to coat a fine recessed part thereof with the thin fine powder metal getter.
CONSTITUTION: Knurling processing 5 for providing a fine recessed part is performed to a part of a lead wire just under a filament fitting part 3, where the metal getter 4 mainly composed of zirconium at 750°C is operated, and a little quantity of binder is added to the metal getter 4, to which recessed part powder processing is processed finely. Or, roughing processing 6 is performed to the described part irregularly, and the recessed part thereof is coated with the fine powder metal getter. Peeling and a fall of the getter is eliminated, and browning failure of a nonactive gas charged incandescent lamp is eliminated, and while quality and homogeneity is improved.
