PURPOSE: To improve the executability and the external appearance image by fixing one piece going toward the upper part of an L-shaped fixture to the wall surface or the side face of furniture, inserting the other piece into a groove part of the side face of one end of a shelf plate, and fixing the vicinity of the other end of this shelf plate to a ceiling through a fixing bar.

CONSTITUTION: A shelf member consists of a shelf plate 1 having a groove part 8 in the longitudinal direction on the side face of one end, an L-shaped fixture having thickness being smaller than groove width of the groove part 8, and a fixing bar 4. One piece going toward the upper part of the L-shaped metallic fixture 6 is fixed to a side face 3 of furniture by using a screw 12, the other piece of the metallic fixture 6 is inserted into the groove part 8 of the side face of one end of the shelf plate 1, and the vicinity of the other end is fixed to a ceiling 5 through the fixing bar 4. In such a way, even if a person looks up to the shelf plate 1, the L-shaped fixture 6 is invisible, there is an external appearance image having a deluxe sense, and also, it is unnecessary to fix the L-shaped metallic fixture 6 and the shelf plate 1 with a screw, a position for fixing the fixing bar 4 to the ceiling 5 can be adjusted easily, and the workability is improved.
