Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cover a member, such as a press ring, a fastening bolt, or a rubber ring for seal, with easy and simple structure while imparting earthquake resistance for a pipe fitting when an aseismatic pipe is laid through propulsion method.
SOLUTION: One end of a straight pipe forms a spigot 2 and the other end forms as socket 3, and an outer surface, except a spigot part, extending from a socket tip to a spigot part is covered with a sheathing 11 to bring it into the same outside diameter to form an aseismatic propulsion pipe 1. In this propulsion pipe 1 wherein a liner 4 is interposed at the tip of the spigot 2 and inserted in the socket 3, a slit groove 12 opened to an end face is peripherally formed in an annular shape in the end face 11A of the sheathing materiel 11 on the outer surface of the socket 3. Meanwhile, a stepped notch surface 13 is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the end part of the sheathing material 11 for the outer surface of the socket. In a portion ranging from the slit groove 12 to the notch surface 13, one end 14A is inserted in the slit groove 12 and the other end 14B has length reaching the notch surface 13 of the outer surface of the spigot. A cover material 14 divided into a plurality of sections in the peripheral direction of the socket 2 is arranged throughout the whole periphery of the socket 3.
