To provide a fitting structure of a container and a cap which can perform closing fitting certainly without accumulating viscous contents remained on the mouth part of the container on the inside of the cap even by repeated use.

In the inner cylinder 22, a plurality of slits 24, 26 to make fitting to the locking part 16a in a snap-fit manner are formed in the longitudinal direction and at least one of the slits, which is formed extending from the tip part to the base part of the inner cylinder 22 and through which the contents inside the inner cylinder 22 are pushed out outside via the slit when the inner cylinder 22 is fitted on the locking part, is a slit 24 of pushing out.
