Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure for a decorative cover material on a structural material that enables a light-weight decorative cover material to be fitted readily, accurately and firmly in a short period of time without welding, to the structural material including a downpipe and other members adjacent to the structural material.SOLUTION: A fitting structure 1a for a decorative cover includes: two substrate materials 5 fixed with bolts 13 on adjacent edge parts of a pair of flanges 4 of a column (a structural material) 2; support frame f1 having a channel form overall and comprising a pair of extended frames 20 parallel to each other and having ends thereof fixed separately to the two substrate materials 5, and an outer frame 23 connecting tips of the pair of extended frames 20 to each other; an edge surface decorative cover 28 having both edge parts fixed on the two substrate materials 5 on an outer side surface over each edge side of the pair of flanges 4; a pair of wide decorative covers 26 each having both ends fixed on each outer side surface of the pair of extended frames 20 of the support frame f1, the pair of wide decorative covers being parallel to the flange 4; and an other edge surface decorative cover 30 having both ends fixed on an outer side surface of the outer frame 23 of the support frame f1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
