Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of a driving transmission member and to eliminate the bending of a neck by eliminating the pushing-in arrangement of the margin of a tube member.
SOLUTION: In an endoscope, a movable lens changing an observation distance, for example, is driven by a linear transmission member 10 and the transmission member 10 is protected by a protection tube 24. Then, the tube 24 is separated to a first protection tube 24A and a second protection tube 24B in an operation part 1A. Besides, the end parts of the tubes 24A and 24B are engaged so as to be superposed and arranged so that the tube 24 can be slid in a thrust direction as much as prescribed amount L1. Thus, since the free end of the tube 24A is freely moved forward and backward with respect to the free end of the tube 24B when an insertion part 1C executes a bending action, the protection tube of this kind need not be arranged by being loosened.
