To provide a fitting structure for a shelf board capable of simply controlling the height of a fitting position of a shelf board, adaptable as design for furniture for a dwelling house, and manufactured at low cost.

In a shelf support bracket 11 formed of a wire-like material, a sideways bent part 11c is provided on the rear end of a horizontal rod part 11b, the front end of the horizontal rod part is bent to form an inclined rod part 11d pointing backward on the upper side, the rear end thereof is bent sideways in the same direction as the bent part 11c, and then bent in the longitudinal direction to form a locking part 11e. The locking part 11e and the bent part 11c of the shelf support bracket are locked in upper and lower locking holes 5a provided in the sides of a pair of right and left struts 5 to fit the bracket, and the horizontal rod part 11b is engaged with the vicinity of both ends of the base to place a shelf board 10 having a lateral shifting preventing means on the horizontal rod part 11b with the position shifting preventing means engaged.
