Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the forward movement of a steering column, and to easily rotate front wheels at the time of collision.
SOLUTION: At the time of collision, a side frame 17 is bent for deformation, and a rod 32 is moved backward through a pin 33 so as to turn an arm 31 in the direction expressed with an arrow (1). As a result, a box main body 12 is fallen from flanges 24, 24 in a figure (b), and the box main body 12 is fallen in front of the a dash board 5 in a figure (c).
