PURPOSE: To improve fitting workability by forming a pedal box into a box shape, providing a dash panel with a bent portion to enhance pedal supporting rigidity, and fitting a pedal assembly from an engine room side.
CONSTITUTION: A pedal assembly 1 is so constructed that travel operating accessories such as pedals 11, 12, a booster 13 and a clutch master cylinder 14 are previously assembled in a box-shape pedal box 10. On the other hand, a dash panel 9 is provided with a bent portion 9, so that in conjunction with the box-shape, pedal supporting rigidity is improved and all is therefore smaller and lighter. Work for attaching the pedal assembly 1 to the dash panel 9 can be conducted near the bent portion 90 at an engine room side so that attaching workability is improved.
