Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting capable of preventing a sash from being warped or fallen by heat in the case of fire.SOLUTION: A fitting 1 openably and closably supporting a sash to a frame 3 includes: a locking member 25 provided on a depth surface 21a of a sash stile 21; and a receiver 27 provided on a top face of a sill 11 at a position opposing the sash stile 21. The locking member 25 has an end wall 25b projecting to an opposite vertical frame 13. The receiver 27 has a depth wall 27b projecting upward. The end wall 25b of the locking member is positioned on an indoor side and an upper side of the depth wall 27b. When the sash stile 21 is elongated by heat, the end wall 25b of the locking member is locked on the indoor side of the depth wall 27b of the receiver or is placed at an upper end of the depth wall 27b of the receiver.
