Abstract:
Provided is a low-cost joint with which a reduction in the heat insulation effect of a transverse drain pipe can be prevented. This joint (1) is for connecting a hose (3) that is connected to a drain pipe of an air conditioner (22) and a tubular pipe (23) that guides drainage discharged from the air conditioner to the outdoors and has a heat-insulating material (28) exposed only at an end surface (23b) of the tubular pipe (23), and comprises a drain passage (1a) for supplying drainage introduced into the hose to the tubular pipe, a tubular first connection part (2) for connecting the hose and provided at one end of the drain passage, and a second connection part (4) for connecting the tubular pipe and provided at the other end of the drain passage. The second connection part is provided with a groove portion (4c) for accommodating the end surface of the tubular pipe and the entire inner circumferential surface and outer circumferential surface in the vicinity of the end surface. The groove portion of the second connecting part is formed by an inside tubular portion (4a) and an outside tubular portion (4b). The inside tubular portion (4a) may be provided with protrusions (4h-4j) at the outer circumferential surface that protrude in a direction perpendicular to the outer circumferential surface along the entire outer circumferential surface.
