Abstract:
To provide a superior safety fitting that allows a sash to remain in a closed state.SOLUTION: A fitting includes a sash, a crescent lock, and a lock mechanism for the crescent lock. The sash is configured to be in an open/close manner. The crescent lock is configured to fix the sash in an immovable manner. The lock mechanism has a regulating member attached to a stile of sash in a rotatable manner about a horizontal axis in a sash opening/closing direction, and the regulating members is movable between a position for holding a locked state of the crescent lock by abutting on a lever of the crescent lock from the indoor side, and a retreat position at which the regulating member is not interfering with the lever, thereby allowing the sash to remain in a closed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
