PURPOSE: To prolong the service life of a releasing agent coating and a cleaning device by making a blade abut on a rotary body on the downstream side of the releasing agent coating device, and providing the cleaning device which cleans scraped toner automatically and also cleans the blade automatically.

CONSTITUTION: In cleaning operation, the blade 102 is separated from a heat roller 11 by the rotation of a rotary shaft 102c and when a threaded shaft 22 is driven, a support member 23 moves to an end part facing the heat roller together with felt pads 24 and 25 to clean a blade chip 102a once. Then the blade 12 is so rotated as to abut on the roller 11 and the pad 25 abuts on the roller 11; and the threaded shaft 22 reverses to move the pads 24 and 25 backward, and the roller 11 and blade chip 102a are cleaned at the same time. Consequently, releasing agent coating is stabilized, the removal of offset toner is automated, and the service life of the devices is prolonged.
