To solve the problem that a medical purpose suture needle requires skillful technique in splicing work such as applying rotation to the needle since tension must be equally put upon the back end whole perimeter of the needle when connecting a suture material, in addition takes long time for working, moreover, is easy to generate an inconvenience that a part of a wall becomes thin if there is deviation in an opening of the back end of the needle and the suture material falls out from the needle if a load is applied in the thin direction, and moreover may cause critical trouble if thread falls out from the needle during surgery.
In a production method, the suture needle and the suture material are fixed by the formation of unevenness of a needle side face inside wall and the suture material by making the opening in the back end face of the suture needle to insert the suture material, driving the leading edge of a punch into the back end side central portion of the needle in a state of the laid down needle using a press machine equipped with the punch.
