Abstract:
To provide a fixed platen in which static electricity charged to a sheet and the fixed platen can be released efficiently.
The platen 1 comprises a metallic supporting member 1a and a sheet receiving part 1b made of an elastic shock absorbing material wherein the sheet receiving part 1b is composed of a material mixed with ether based polyurethane such that the surface resistance thereof does not exceed 1020 Ω.
