PURPOSE: To provide a fixed quantity transfer device capable of transferring a high-temperature viscous fused body or its slurry at the fixed flow rate, and a transfer method using this device.

CONSTITUTION: A fixed quantity transfer device for a fused body is formed of a melting tank 1 for holding a fused body 5 in storage, a suction conduit 2 heat-insulated to the fusing point of the fused body or higher, with the suction end part inserted into the fused body, a pressure regulating container 3 provided with an exhaust pipe 7 connected to the suction conduit 2 and a vacuum means, and a discharge conduit 4 heat-insulated to the fusing point of the fused body or higher, with the inner diameter larger than that of the suction conduit 2 and with the discharge tip part opened outside of a system through a trap part 10 provided in a position lower than the liquid level of the melting tank 1. In the fixed quantity transfer method of the fused body, the differential pressure ΔP=(P1-P2) of the pressure reduction degree P1 to the pressure regulating container and static pressure P2 to the suction conduit is held constant by the pressure reduction adjustment of the pressure regulating container using this device.
