Title:
FIXED-SPEED WALKING INSTRUCTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3635733
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain more exact walking speed without using any instable step to affect the walking speed by instructing a walking pitch for walking at desired speed by inputting the walking speed and the sex, height, weight and age of a user.
SOLUTION: A fixed-speed walking instructing device instructs the walking pitch for walking at the desired speed by inputting the walking speed and the sex, height, weight and age of a user. In usual walking, the more the walking pitch is accelerated, the more the step is widened and the more the walking pitch is decelerated, the more the step is narrowed. The step is affected by the height, weight, age and sex of an individual and when the walking pitch is decided with these body features as parameters, the step of that individual is unitarily decided. By designating the walking speed and correcting it with the height, weight, age and sex of the user as parameters, the walking pitch corresponding to the user can be provided. The figure shows the graph of correlation between the measured value of the number of walking pitches and the calculated value of a man (a) and a woman (b).
