Abstract:
To provide a new topcoat material for a low-oil or oilless machine used in high performance fixing.
Provided is a self-releasing fixer member including a substrate 4 and an outer layer 2 having a topcoat 31 on the substrate 4 wherein the outer layer 2 includes a fluoropolymer 30 and the topcoat 31 includes fluorocarbon chains 29, and the fluorocarbon chains 29 are bonded to the fluoropolymer 30.
