Abstract:
To provide a fixing apparatus configured to cool a rotating body without causing rotation failure or wear of the rotating body, while being compatible with a high-speed image forming apparatus.
A fixing apparatus 16 includes: a rotating body 21 having a nip part 29 for heating a toner image on a recording material S; and cooling means 22 for cooling the rotating body 21. The cooling means 22 cools the rotating body 21 by bringing cooling liquid into contact with the rotating body 21.
