Abstract:
To stabilize the posture of a releasing agent coating web coming into contact with a fixing belt or a donor roller and a coating condition by preventing the change of the applied amount of releasing agent in the fixing apparatus of an image forming apparatus adopting a web system for a releasing agent coating means and a fixing belt system for a fixing means.
In the fixing apparatus 30 of the image forming apparatus, a web roll 41 round which a releasing agent coating web 44 is wound is arranged so that a distance (l3) from a 2nd roller having a heating means 38 is located farther than the distance (l4) of a web take-up shaft 42.
