To provide a fixing belt having improved mechanical properties, thermal conductivity, flexibility, and a toner releasing property, and also, having high adhesion among respective layers such as a polymide layer, a metal layer and a releasing layer, and having improved durability, regarding the fixing belt used in a belt fixation system for a printer etc., where the increase of the operating speed and the miniaturization are required.
The fixing belt is constituted by forming the metal layer on the outer surface of a tubular object having a base composed of polymide, and forming the releasing layer on the outer surface of the metal layer. The metal layer is formed of a metal deposit film formed by spray-coating.
