The fixing device has: a rotating body including a heating body, and freely rotatably disposed; a conveying member disposed in contact with the rotating body; and a first pressure member configured to press the conveying member to the rotating body. The first pressure member is equipped with a sliding part with spherical particulates disposed in a part thereof coming in contact with the conveying member. Since the first pressure member is equipped with the sliding part with spherical particulates disposed in a part thereof coming in contact with the conveying member, the inner peripheral part of the conveying member is prevented from being shaved off. An amount of shavings sticking to the surface of the first pressure member is reduced, thus, the contact area between the conveying member and the first pressure member is not increased. A frictional force generated when the conveying member and the first pressure member slide in contact with each other, is reduced.
