Abstract:

To provide a fixing device which can prevent an electric wire for a temperature detection part for a body to be heated in the fixing device from being exposed to high temperature as much as possible, thereby improving safety.

A fixing device 20 comprises: a heater 23; a temperature detection part 24 for detecting the temperature of a heat roller 21 to be heated by the heater 23; a housing 30 for housing the heater 23, the heat roller 21, and the temperature detection part 24; a detection part installation chamber 31 provided in the housing 30 for installing the temperature detection part 24; and a wiring chamber 32 provided at a position outside the heat roller 21 in the housing 30 with the detection part installation chamber 31 therebetween so that an electric wire 25 connected to the temperature detection part 24 is wired.
