To charge a tensioning force introduced to an outer cable for prestress introduction to a main girder having an I-shaped cross section or a T-shaped cross section by fixing the outer cable to the main girder even in the case where a space for installing PC steel is not present between main girders neighboring in a width direction when disposing the outer cable outside of the cross section of the main girder.
In a bridge girder 50 where main girders 5 each including an I-shaped cross section or a T-shaped cross section with a lower flange 51, are disposed in parallel in a width direction, a fixing device 1 is formed from an upper member 2 which is disposed over neighboring main girders 5 and 5 and on top faces of the lower flanges 51 of the main girders 5, a lower member 3 disposed under bottom faces of the lower flanges 51 of the main girders 5, and a tensioning member 4 which is installed between the upper member 2 and the lower member 3 in an area out of the main girders 5. The tensioning member 4 is tensioned and fixed to the upper member 2 and the lower member 3, thereby fixing the upper member 2 and the lower member 3 to the main girder while holding the main girder 5 therebetween.
