PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparatively compact fixing device in which the surface of a panel heater being the advantage of a cleaning web is prevented from being stained, the jamming frequency of a master is reduced, the preventing effect of the contamination the surface of the master caused by excessive toner is sufficiently achieved and the new cleaning web can be set to be tensed without being loosened even by an inexperienced person. SOLUTION: This fixing device for wet type plate making machine is provided with the panel heater 13 for drying and fixing the electrostatic latent image of the surface of the master developed by developer and the cleaning web 20 laminated on the surface of the heater 13 and taken up by a web take-up bobbin 20B positioned at one end of the heater 13, so that the excessive liquid of the back surface of the master is adsorbed by the web 20. The web 20 is made in strain while covering the whole surface of the heater 14, fed out from a web original winding bobbin 20A arranged at the exit side of the heater 14 and taken up by the bobbin 20B positioned at the entrance side of the heater 14.
