To provide a fixing device for a wheel chair which achieves easier handling by firmly fixing the wheel chair on a floor.

A hook 22 that a support wire 21 has as pulled out of four winding mechanisms 10 is caught on a wheel chair to get the support wire 21 tensioned with the winding action of the winding mechanism 10 while the winding mechanism 10 is locked by the operation of turning an operation handle 34 to regulate the pulling out of the winding mechanism 10 of the support wire 21. This can maintain a tensioned state of the support wire 21 to accomplish firm fixation of the wheel chair on a floor. Both left and right hooks 22a and 22b on the front side are interlinked by an extendible link device 50. Thus, the hooks 22a and 22b are caught at a part of the body of the wheel chair by gripping the link device 50.
