To provide a fixing implement for a columnar body, which cannot be easily separated from a road surface even when undergoing a repeatedly-rotating force, and a method for forming a burying hole for burying the fixing implement.
This fixing implement P for the columnar body is formed in such a noncircular shape in a plan view that the at least two short columnar bodies 3 identical in shape to each other in the plan view are integrated together by making lateral portions overlap each other; and a mounting hole 2, in which a female screw 21 for screwing a protrusive portion of the columnar body is engraved in an inner peripheral surface, is formed in a portion 32 where the short columnar bodies 3 cross each other. Thus, even if the rotational force, which is generated when the columnar body is rotated and mounted in/demounted from the mounting hole 2, acts on the fixing implement P, a fixing material such as mortar and an adhesive, which is infilled around the fixing implement P so as to fix the fixing implement P and the road surface, can be hardly separated because the fixing implement P is formed in the noncircular shape in the plan view.
