This fixing member 1 includes a flat plate-like base part 10, a flat plate-like top plate part 40 supported by a pair of top plate support parts 20 vertically installed on the base part, a bolt 50 which comprises an elongated hole part 41 which penetrates through the top plate part and both ends of which are closed, a shaft part 52 of such a size that is allowed to penetrate through the elongated hole part, and a head part 51 of such a size that is not allowed to penetrate through the elongated hole part, the shaft part of which is inserted into the elongated hole part while the head part is positioned below the top plate part, and the shaft part of which is inserted into a support hole part provided to the support member of a solar battery module, a head part insertion hole 42 the size of which allows the head part to penetrate therethrough, and which communicates with the elongated hole part at one end of the elongated hole part, and a fixing hole part 15 which is positioned on a line formed by projecting the center axis N of the elongated hole part on the base part and which extends through the base part.
