Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing metal fitting which can be easily fixed and in a short time by preventing the backward movement by a part to be closely attached to an inclined surface of a rear end face of a tightening member, and tightening and fixing a fixing metal fitting body a fitting seat to each other.
SOLUTION: A part of a rear end part of a tightening member 2 of a fixing metal fitting body 1 is advanced by the pressing force of a spring 4 in a closely attached condition to an inner wall surface of a hollow part 13 by inserting the fixing body 1, and further advanced in a closely attached condition to an inclined surface 14. The tightening member is stopped at the position where a fitting part 1c of the fixing body 1 is brought into contact with the tip of a tilting seat 11. When a handrail 20 is drawn in this condition, in a part to be closely attached to the inclined surface 14 of the fitting seat 11 of the tightening member 2, the force in the reverse direction is exerted against the force in the direction opposite to the arrow direction by the force to be closely attached to the inclined surface 14 and the force by the spring 4, and the rear end part of the tightening member 2 is bitten in the inclined surface 14, and the fixing body 1 is prevented from moving in the direction opposite to the arrow direction.
