PURPOSE: To fix the tip of the captioned core with less heating area by welding from the outside circumference of a ribbon by means of spot welding when the ribbon is wound only plural times around a winding shaft.
CONSTITUTION: The terminal of a ribbon 1 is to be inserted between a winding shaft 27 and a guide portion by displacing a horizontal displacement block and the ribbon 1 is to be wound by rotating the winding shaft 27. Here, winding of the ribbon 1 by the winding shaft 27 is to be performed at low speed. Rotation of the winding shaft 27 is to be stopped when the ribbon 1 is wound around the winding shaft 27 4 to 6 times to perform a spot welding from the outer side of the ribbon 1. When the electric current is sent between electrodes 54, 54 in the condition of the electrode 54 contacting the ribbon 1 with pressure, the spot welding can be performed from the outer side of the ribbon 1 by the arc generated between the electrodes. The terminal of the ribbon 1 can be fixed in this manner.
