Abstract:

To improve the adhesion between a main pipe outer surface and a saddle part or the working efficiency by designing the temporary fixing method to a saddle-shaped joint.

This fixing method of saddle-shaped joint comprises temporarily fixing a saddle shaped joint B having a branch pipe part 11 from the main pipe C and a saddle part 12 having a circular contact surface 12a to the outer surface 10 of the main pipe C including the opening part 11b of the part 11 to the main pipe C while allowing the contact surface 1a to abut on the outer surface 10, and mainly fixing both the surfaces by thermal fusion. The saddle- shaped joint B is pressed to the main pipe C so as to act on at least three positions of both the circumferential ends of the main pipe C in the saddle part 12 and the branch pipe part 11, and the pressing reaction is received by a chain 2 wound on the main pipe C, whereby the saddle-shaped joint B is temporarily fixed to the main pipe C.
