Abstract:

To provide a fixing method when the electromagnetic coil of the electromagnetic tooth clutch of the screw-down pointer of a slab blooming mill is burned out.

In the case the electromagnetic coil is burned out in the electromagnetic tooth clutch of the screw-down pointer of the slab blooming mill, a face gear 9 and a face gear 10 are engaged with each other and fixed by fixing a ring-shaped parts 15 to a hub 4, fixing properly cut bolts 17 to the ring-shaped part 15 which is fixed to the hub 4 and pressing an electromagnetic absorber 2 against the side of an electromagnetic coil unit 1 by using a cylindrical parts 16 whose position is adjustable by the properly cut bolts 17 and nuts 18. In this fixing method of the electromagnetic tooth clutch of the screw-down pointer of the slab blooming mill, the respective single articles of this tool composed of the ring-shaped part 15 and the cylindrical parts 16, the properly cut bolts 17 and nuts 18 have weight which is potable manually by a person and has structure by which all fixing parts are simply fixed by bolting and the torque of the input shaft 19 is transmittable to the output shaft 20.
