Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a tapping screw and reduce the man-hour of mounting in the mounting of a cover on the end surface of a cylinder such as a signal transmitting device without contact-making between relative rotating members.
SOLUTION: In a fixing structure of cover to end surface of cylinder, a locking projection 1 having a tip hood part 1a is provided in a plurality of positions on the contact surface of a cover 110 contacting the end surface of a cylinder 11a when the cover 110 is mounted on the end surface of the cylinder 11a, and a positioning projection 2 formed of two parallel arms 2A, 2B spaced with a prescribed distance is provided in the area between the locking projections 1. A housing groove 3 and a housing groove 4 are provided in a position corresponding to the locking projection 1 of the end surface of the cylinder 11a and a position corresponding to the positioning projection 2, respectively. The hook part 1a of the locking projection is provided on the inner circumferential surface side of the cylinder 11a, the housing groove 3 has a through-hole 3a which is a lock part for receiving and locking the hook part 1a on the inner surface side of the cylinder 11a, and the housing groove 4 has a rib 4a having a width fitted to the space between the two parallel arms.
