Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure of a seat ring for a butterfly valve which is suitable for, in particular, a high-pressure fluid, surely prevents fluid leakage at a backflow from a clearance between a large-diameter body and the seat ring, secures seal surface pressure even at positive pressure or back pressure, and exerts high seal performance.SOLUTION: In a fixing structure of a seat ring for a butterfly valve in which the seat ring which seal-contacts with an external peripheral face of a disc 3 arranged in a cylindrical body 2 so as to be turntable is fixed between the body 2 and a seat retainer 5, the seat ring is composed of a seat ring main body 20, and a gasket part 21 which is integrally extended to an external peripheral side of the seat ring main body 20 via an edged part 30, and an engagement part 32 for preventing the back leakage of the gasket part 21 is arranged at the edged part 30 in a state that the body 2 and the gasket part 21 are engaged with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
