Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a ribbon mask holder to a carriage with high accuracy through a simple structure.
SOLUTION: In the structure for fixing a ribbon mask holder 40 for protecting an ink ribbon interposed between a recording head 18 and a sheet to a carriage 19 carrying a recording head, a positioning pin 47 and a reinforcing piece 48 are formed integrally with the ribbon mask holder and fitted, respectively, in a pin hole 49 and a rectangular hole 50 made in the carriage thus fixing the ribbon mask holder to the carriage.
