Abstract:
PURPOSE: To intensify fixing force by solidifying a thermoplastic synthetic resin in the state that this resin diffuses within the internal expanding point of a recessed hole for fixing and infiltrates to the rear side of an expanded head part for fixing to assure secure fixing and fitting the mouth of this recessed hole for fixing with a cap part.
CONSTITUTION: A button body 1 is provided with the recessed hole 3 for fixing which has the small mouth 2 and is internally expanded. A brass leg member 4 for mounting to cloth, etc., is provided with the expanded head part 6 for fixing sized to be immersed into the internal expanding point 5 of the recessed hole 3 for fixing through the mouth 2 of the recessed hole 3 for fixing in the state of having the least possible play and the cap part 8 to be fitted into the mouth 2 of the recessed hole 3 for fixing in the state of having the least possible play on the rear side of the expanded head part 6 for fixing. A small piece-shaped body 7 made of the thermoplastic synthetic resin is thereafter put into the recessed hole 3 for fixing and the expanded head part 6 for fixing is inserted into the recessed hole 3 for fixing. This small piece-like body 7 is melted by heating while thrust force is applied on this part 6, by which the melt is infiltrated to the rear side of the expanded head part 6 for fixing and the cap part 8 is fitted into the mouth 2 of the recessed hole 3 for fixing.
