To provide a photoelectric sensor and a fixture of the photoelectric sensor, with which work of optical axis adjustment is separated from work for fixing the photoelectric sensor to the fixture and an optical axis in a vertical direction can easily be adjusted with respect to an installation face by one hand.

A photoelectric sensor device is provided with a fitting base plate having a plurality of installation fitting holes into which a fitting member for fitting the plate to the installation face is inserted, a sensor fitting plate which is almost parallel to the fitting base plate and has sensor fitting holes into which a fitting member for fitting the photoelectric sensor is inserted, a connection part connecting the fitting base plate and the sensor fitting plate by detaching them by a prescribed distance and changing an angle that the fitting base plate and the sensor fitting plate make and an adjusting means adjusting the optical axis in cooperation with the fitting base plate and the sensor fitting plate.
