This fixture A for roof material comprises a screw part 2 having threads 1 formed in an outer circumference thereof, a connection part 3 formed at a rear end of the screw 2, a screw head 4 formed at a rear end of the connection part 3. The maximum diameter D1 of the connection part 3 is formed in a roughly same diameter as diameter D2 of a thread top of the screw 2. The screw head 4 is formed in a flat plate shape. A shape of a tool fit recess 5 provided on the screw head 4 is formed in a square, a hexagon or a star shape. The connection part 3 can be inserted in a fixing hole 7 of the roof material 6. The screw head 4 can be prevented from greatly projecting out of a surface of the roof material 6 by making the connection part 3 not caught at an opening edge of the fixing hole 7. The screw head 4 is not easily broken as compared with a case that the shape of the tool fit recess 5 is formed in a cross shape.
