PURPOSE: To obtain a molding material having good mechanical and flame- proofing properties by incorporating respectively prescribed quantities of a thermoplastic polyamide, a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, aluminum oxide and/or a specified aluminum aliphatic carboxylate.
CONSTITUTION: The molding material is incorporated with 40-99.5 wt.% of a thermoplastic polyamide (example: a polyhexamethylene adipamide), 0.45-15 wt.% of a thermoplastic polyester elastomer [example: a copolyether ester from a poly(1,4-buthylene glycol), terephthalic acid, and 1,4-butane diol], 0.05-5 wt.% aluminum oxide (example: γ-Al2O3) and/or an aluminum 6-30 C aliphatic carboxylate (example: aluminum stearate), 50% or less of an optional component of fibers or a granular filler.
