Abstract:
To provide a wood having sufficient flame retardancy by a simple means.
The above flame resistant wood is produced by applying, to a wood material, a flame resistant solution having been prepared by blending a phosphate compound with an aqueous solution of a phosphor nitrogen compound in an amount of 1-30 wt.% relative to the total amount, to thereby impregnate the wood material with the flame resistant solution.
