Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant, antistatic warp knitted fabric which is light in weight and thin, which has excellent antistatic properties while antistatic fibers are inconspicuously present and are mixed in a low ratio, and which can be manufactured at low cost; and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A warp knitted fabric includes flame-retardant synthetic fiber yarns and antistatic yarns. A basic structural part is formed of the flame-retardant synthetic fiber yarns. The antistatic yarns are single yarns and have an extra-fine fineness. The single yarns form no stitches in wales and are knitted in a knitted structure different from the knitted structure of the flame-retardant synthetic fiber yarns. The single yarns are each inserted along a prescribed wale so as to be alternately moved to both sides of a needle corresponding to the wale. The total fineness of the antistatic yarns is 20 to 100 denier.
