Abstract:
To obtain a flame-retardant composite nonwoven fabric excellent in not only flame retardancy and mechanical properties but also in flexibility among others.
This flame-retardant composite nonwoven fabric is such that a continuous fiber nonwoven web layer and a short fiber nonwoven web layer are mutually laminated, the constituent fibers of the former web layer and/or those of the latter web layer are flame retardant, the constituent fibers of the latter web layer are three-dimensionally interlaced with one another, and the constituent fibers of the former web layer and those of the latter web layer are mutually and three-dimensionally interlaced, thus rendering both the web layers unified.
