Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant crosslinked resin composition which exhibits high flame retardancy even when the content of a flame retardant is reduced, and to provide a wiring material using the composition as a coating material.SOLUTION: The flame-retardant crosslinked resin composition contains: 100 pts.mass of a resin containing (a1) 50 to 100 mass% of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and (a2) 0 to 50 mass% of at least one selected from polypropylene-based resins and polybutene-based resins; 20 to 60 pts.mass of a halogen-based flame retardant; 10 to 50 pts.mass of zinc borate; 5 to 50 pts.mass of a metal hydrate; and 0 to 50 pts.mass of antimony trioxide. Here, the total content of the halogen-based flame retardant, the zinc borate, the metal hydrate, and the antimony trioxide is 50 to 105 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the resin. The wiring material has a coating layer of the flame-retardant crosslinked resin composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
