Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant engineering plastic and a preparation method thereof.SOLUTION: The flame-retardant engineering plastic contains a halogen-free flame retardant as a raw material component. The addition of the flame retardant gives good flame retardancy and excellent mechanical properties to the engineered plastic. The engineering plastic is prepared by a raw material containing 40 to 60 pts.mass of PC, 20 to 40 pts.mass of an epoxy resin, 10 to 20 pts.mass of ABS and 5 to 15 pts.mass of the retardant. The engineering plastic according to the present invention has a bending strength of 82.4 to 84 MPa, tensile strength of 65.7 to 66.6 MPa, a high notched impact strength of 26.3 to 27 J/m, a melt index of 12.6 to 15 and an oxygen index of 26.2 o 27.5%, and thus has excellent mechanical properties and good flame retardancy.SELECTED DRAWING: None
