Title:
FLAME RETARDANT INSULATED WIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04296407
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve an insulating property while having a small diameter by coating a conductor with an insulator composite material containing polyethylene not less than 50wt.% and an organic flame retardant having a prescribed melting point.

CONSTITUTION: A conductor is coated with an insulator composite material containing polyethylene not less than 50wt.% and an organic incombustible agent having a melting point 180 to 240°C in order to obtain an incombustible insulated wire of a small diameter. As the organic incombustible agent, that of a halogen group having a melting point 180 to 240°C is good and PBPH having a melting point 223 to 227°C, EB400SG having a melting point 205 to 215°C and others are used.
