To provide a flame-retardant resin composition from which a thin resin molded product can be produced (high fluidity) and which satisfies both flame retardant specifications of a UL-94 and IEC60695-2, has satisfactory performance in mechanical properties and insulation characteristics and excellent balance of physical properties and can be used in a wide range of applications and to provide the resin molded product formed by molding the same.
The flame retardant polybutylene terephthalate resin composition is obtained by adding (B) 10 to 50 pts.mass bromine-based flame-retardant, (C) 10 to 60 pts.mass salts of amino group-containing triazines, (D) 5 to 20 pts.mass inorganic flame-retardant aid and (E) 40 to 200 pts.mass inorganic filler to (A) 100 pts.mass polybutylene terephthalate resin having ≤50 ppm 1,4-butane diol component generated when treated at 270°C for 10 min.
