Abstract:

To provide a resin composition excellent in wet heat resistance, thermal stability, flame retardancy, large-size moldability and mechanical strength, and a molded article comprising the same, particularly a molded article suitable for vehicular use or electrical-electronic use.

The resin composition contains 0.01-40 pts.wt. of a flame retardant (component C) and 0-2.0 pts.wt. of a fluorine-containing dripping inhibitor (component D), relative to 100 pts.wt. of a resin composition comprising 30-99 wt.% of a polycarbonate resin (component A) and 1-70 wt.% of a polyester resin (component B), wherein the component B is a polyester resin polymerized in the presence of a titanium-phosphorus catalyst obtained by the reaction of a titanium compound having a specific structure with a phosphorus compound having a specific structure. The molded article is obtained using the flame retardant resin composition.
