To obtain a polycarbonate resin composition having a high flowability and giving moldings having a high impact strength and excellent flame retardancy by mixing a resin component comprising a styrene resin and an aromatic polycarbonate with a fame retardant (mixture) having a specified structure.
This combustion comprises 100 pts.wt. resin component comprising 5-95 pts.wt. styrene resin and 95-5 pts.wt. aromatic polycarbonate and 1-100 pts.wt. flame retardant of formula I (wherein a, b, c, d and e are each an integer of 0-3, provided they can not be 0 simultaneously; R1 to R5 are each a 1-10C hydrocarbon group; and n is an integer of 1-3) or a mixture thereof with a flame retardant of formula II (wherein a, b and c are each an integer of 1-3; R1 to R3 are each hydrogen or a 1-30C hydrocarbon group, provided that the total number of carbon atoms of R1 to R3 is 12-30 on the average per compound). If necessary, the composition may further contain a compatibilizer such as a copolymer comprising an aromatic vinyl monomer and a comonomer.
